2 Based on the location of the main sentence
v deductive paragraph is a paragraph that begins by stating the key issue or topic sentence followed by explanatory sentences. example:
"His will be difficult to follow. In the previous meeting it was decided that the funds should be deposited first. The participants have agreed on that. However, today he is forced to use open a new business. "
v An inductive paragraph is a paragraph that begins with the explanations put forward then topped with a topic sentence. Inductive paragraphs can be divided into three types, namely generalization, analogy, and causality.
v The generalization is that the pattern of paragraph development using some special facts to obtain general conclusions. example:
"Having a bouquet of third grade children examined, it turns out Ali, Toto, Alex, and Burhan, scored eight. Other children who scored seven. Maman only six and nobody scored less. Therefore, it may be said third grade children making up clever enough ".

The explanation above is:
1 Obtaining the value of Ali, Toto, Alex, Burhan, Maman, and third grade children that the other is a special occasion.
2 special events that we connection between the logical reasoning.
3 Conclusions or opinions that we get is that the third year is quite good at making up.
4. conclusion that the three graders making up clever enough, include Ali, Toto, Alex, Burhan, Maman, and other children. In conclusion there are enough words because Maman only scored six. If Maman also scored seven or eight, the conclusion is all three graders invent clever.

v The analogy is a paragraph that contains a pattern drafting comparison of two things that have the same properties. This pattern is based on the assumption that if there have been similarities in many respects there will be similarities also in other fields. example:
"The universe is run by a very regular basis, as does the engine. The sun, earth, moon, and beasts are millions in number, circulated regularly, such as irregular complex machine spinning wheel. All the moves follow a certain rhythm. Complicated machine that has a Creator, that man. Is not that the greatest and outstanding natural neat throughout this period there is no creator? Creator of the course is a substance that is almighty. Man who created the machine, is very dear to his creation. It must likewise with God, which must be dear to His creations were. "

In the above paragraph, the authors compare the machine with the universe. Machine only has a Creator, human so the authors concluded that the nature was definitely some creators. If man is very fond of his creation, of God as well as the creator of the universe. He must have been very dear to his creations it.

v Relationship Causal causal relationship is a pattern drafting paragraph using the facts that have a pattern of cause-effect relationships. For example, if the rain, we'll headache or Rini go to the doctor because he had a headache. There are three patterns of causality, namely causal, due to the causes, and the cause-effect as a result of 2 1.
- Cause and Effect
The reasoning starts from the event was the cause, then come to the conclusion as a result. The pattern is a result B. Example:
"The era of the Reformation in the first and second year apparently yielded encouraging results. Agriculture, commerce, and industry, can be rehabilitated and controlled. National production increased. Timber exports and rising oil prices in the world market generates billions of dollars of foreign exchange for the state treasury. Thus, the position becomes more stable rupiah. Indonesian Economy is more stable now. Therefore, it is not surprising that began three years of this reform era, Indonesia has been able to receive foreign loans with terms of less soft to finance the construction. "

It is important that we need to consider in making causal conclusions pattern is precision in analyzing the causes of events or factors.

- Effects Cause
In this pattern we start with events that become due. That event then our analysis to find the cause. example:
"Yesterday Badu did not enter the office. Today was not. This morning she went to the pharmacy to buy medicine. Therefore, it must Badu is sick. "

- Causal Effects-1 2
A series of causes can lead to a result. Due to the first turn into the consequences for both. And so on up to arise as a result of a series of several. example:
"Beginning on January 17, 2002, the price of various types of domestic petroleum rose. Kerosene, premium, diesel, and others raised the price. This is because the government wants to reduce subsidies in the hope that the Indonesian economy back to normal takes place. Due to rising fuel prices, of course, the cost of transportation will go up anyway. If transportation costs rise, prices of goods will definitely go up because of the additional costs for transportation have to be taken into account. The rise in the price of the goods will be felt heavily by the people. Therefore, the increase in the price of goods must be balanced with efforts to raise public revenue. "

v Mixed paragraph is a paragraph that begins by stating the key issue or topic sentence followed by explanatory sentences and ending with topik.Kalimat topic sentence at the end of the paragraph there is an affirmation of the beginning of the paragraph. example:
"In everyday life man can not be separated from communication. Any activity by man must use the means of communication, means of communication both simple and modern. Culture and human civilization can not advance as it is today with no means of communication. "
v Paragraph Descriptive / Narrative / Spread is a paragraph that does not have a main sentence. The main thoughts spread to an entire paragraph or implied in explanatory sentences. example:
"On the side of the road many people selling cakes and drinks. The price is cheap-cheap, sweetheart many flies because it is not far from where there is a pile of rotting garbage. Of garbage, flies flew and landed on the cake and drinks. People who eat are not bothered by the flies. Easy for you to eat and drink while resting and joked. "
